Infarm achieves B Corp™ certification

The vertical farming company joins the B Corp network of companies that meet the highest standards in sustainability and social responsibility

Amsterdam, Netherlands, February 9, 2023 – Infarm, a purpose-born, impact-conscious vertical farming company today announced its certification as a B Corporation™ (B Corp™). Certified B Corps are a new generation of for-profit companies, verified by B Lab and meet the highest standards of social and environmental performance, transparency and accountability. B Corps are legally required to consider the impact of their decisions on all stakeholders: customers, workers, communities, and the environment.

In a rigorous assessment process, Infarm proved that its business is truly a force for good. Infarm’s mission is to revolutionize the food system by breaking up rigid supply chains by building a new food system that is resilient, nutrient-dense, in a way that is also good for the planet.

B Corps walk the talk: to achieve certification a company must earn a minimum, verified score of 80 points on the B Impact Assessment, which examines a company’s overall impact on its governance, workers, community, customers, and environment.

Infarm scored 83.6 points on the B Impact Assessment. Infarm’s scores are published transparently at bcorporation.net.

Infarm will add the B Corp logo to its product packaging to spread the word and educate about the B Corp movement, and to help people make more sustainable shopping decisions.
